Reel Buzz: A Mega Strategy

The mega strategy is on to protect and promote Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Of late, there has been a spate of announcements on social media that Chiranjeevi’s 151st film would be with Boyapati Srinu that his 152nd would be with Trivikram etc. 

Apparently, all this is promotion blitzkrieg unleashed by the PR team of Ram Charan to create a market for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Nobody knows how Chiru’s reentry would be received by the masses. 

More importantly, if buyers shell out huge amounts for the rights of his 150th  film and Chiru does not intend to do any more films after that, it would be like putting all their eggs in one basket. 

These announcements would now give buyers confidence that even if they acquire Chiru’s 150th film, they have his other films too as a buffer.
