Amaravati Capital Development Advisory Committee member Beeda Masthan Rao’s name has come up for consideration by the TDP leadership for the post of the coveted Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ Trust Board Chairman.
Masthan Rao A former MLA and successful industrialist, has risen as a prominent in backward classes' leader in Nellore region. He has spoken to the Kavali Assembly fragment from 2009 to 2014.
The term of the present Trust Board led by Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy has ended.
Sources in the Telugu Desam Party here said the leadership was currently for a non-dubious and prominent leader for the TTD Chairman's post as the general races are only two years away.
Mr. Masthan Rao’s name has come up for consideration given his family’s association and active participation in the TDP party activities for a long time now.
He has turned out to be known as a confided in adherent of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as far back as he joined the gathering.
A joyous mood is prevailing among the TDP leaders and his followers here following reports that his is name being considered for the Chairman post.
At the same time, the TDP leaders here say nothing can be said till the last minute.
Already, the names of senior leaders like MP Maganti Murali Mohan and Retired IAS Officer K. Lakshminarayana are doing the rounds for the top post.
