Rajya Sabha Election Schedule Released The Central Election Commission announced Friday the schedule for the elections under the legislative council. The 58-member Rajya Sabha members from 16 states across the country are expected to announce a notification on March 5 for the April-May period this year. The EC said the elections will be held on March 23. Counting of votes will be held at 5 pm on March 23rd. The elections will be held in three constituencies in Tamil Nadu and three in Telangana. Chiranjeevi, Devender Goud and Renuka Chowdhary represent Andhra Pradesh from the six seats in Tamil Nadu. Ramesh, Ropauli Anandabaskar and Palwal Govardhan Reddy are represented. However, the position was vacant with the death of Palwa recently.

Though Devendra Gowda was Telangana, he was elected from Andhra Pradesh due to seat allotment during the partition of the state. As well as c Though Ramesh belongs to AP, he represents the Rajya Sabha from Telangana. In the backdrop, the new candidates will be filled in six seats. In Andhra Pradesh, the strength of the party MLAs will be in power. There is a chance to win third place. However, the main opposition is interested in the third seat affair between Vaikappa and the Tribals. The party has already reduced the number of MLAs from Vidakapadu to Teddapada. Even if the two parties had the power of the ruling party, the third seat could not be taken.
